Snapdeal witnessed 1.8x growth in order volumes during the festive season sale 2024

As the festive season sale continues to charm consumers, India’s leading value-lifestyle platform Snapdeal has witnessed 1.8x growth in order volumes during the festive season sale till 15th of October 2024. This growth is in comparison with last year’s festive season sales period.


The festive season sale is the biggest sale event during the year, offering attractive discounts and limited edition deals across product categories.


Some of the categories that observed significant rise in order volumes during this year's festive sale as compared to the previous year include women’s fashion with products like kurtis, dupattas, lehengas, tops and tunics which saw a 2.5x jump in orders. Similarly, kid’s fashion including products like suit sets, frocks, dresses and other ethnic wear witnessed 2x growth as well as men’s fashion items including ethnic footwear, short and long kurtas, kurta pyjama sets, etc. noted a 1.9x growth in orders during this period. The home decor category too saw significant growth and recorded a 1.6x increase in orders with leading products including furniture, home furnishing accessories, bedsheets, mattresses and pillow covers among others growth in orders during the same period.


In the run up to the festive season sale, Snapdeal greatly expanded its range of products in the home decor and fashion segments by adding a slew of national and regional brands to its platform from across the country.


The sale offered products at exciting prices across categories with pooja essentials starting at INR 99, sweets starting at INR 129, festive apparel including kurta sets starting at INR 269, banarasi sarees under INR 499 and necklace & sets under INR 299 among other exclusive discounts on other products.


Snapdeal’s festive dhamaka offer is followed by its ‘Har Din Tyohaar’ sale which started from 8th October and will continue till 7th November 2024.


As part of its sale offerings, Snapdeal has also curated a special offering named ‘House of Worship’ showcasing products like pooja samagri, diwali essentials, sajavat products, sweets as well as a large variety of gift items.
